    09 Po175

ok guys i have been having this code pop up after i changed my volant power core filter to a K&N filter. The maf is good cause as soon as i put everything back to stock the SES light goes off. I am really tired of this code and seems to pop up almost every two weeks.

PO175 system to rich. bank 2 i just dont know what else to change to put this back to normal. Volant even sent me a new intake tube but cause we thought it was the maf housing was off but it still does it. Any ideas/help would be great.

have you tried replacing the 02 sensor on that side? Put the factory stuff back in the truck first and see if it goes away. If not, take it back to the dealer for emissions warranty repairs.

You can get that code (and usually P0172, too) if there's too much oil on the filter. It will get on the MAF wires and cause a false reading. Try removing the filter and wiping it down with paper towels to remove as much oil as possible. Then clean the MAF, clear the code, and try it again. K&N filters have been known to have too much oil right out of the box.

i will dry that since i went from a dry filter to an oiled one but when i got the k&N it didnt really look to oily to me worth a try.

ok guys this is wired i changed my k&n filter back to the volant and the SES light turned off in about a day or so the truck feels better to me although i cant hear the spacer anymore until its lower gear but other than that the truck is running good now.

i guess this kit is meant to be used as whole and cant change things.
