Add rear disk brakes to nnbs anybody?

I'm sure you guys know they really underbraked these trucks. Running 150+ does not help the situation. I have upgraded my front rotors and added Hawk Super Duty pads and it has helped. So what does it take to go disk on the rear? Short of swaping axles could a guy get a different backing plate off of a Tahoe or Subby and use there rotors and Calipers with a proportion valve? Anybody thought about this? I also need a tune and ditch my stupid Predator but would much perfer a dyno tune over a mail order. My Vette tuner (Quality Motorsports) does not jack with pickups so I'm wondering could I get a mail tune and have it adjusted in San Antonio later? I'm in the Dfdub.

    Let me know!

Yes, you can do that with the NP tunes.

All the 6.0 and 6.2 trucks have them. It is like a 75 dollar option on the other trucks. My 2005 had them. I never even considered they would go back to drums a week later I noticed. I would perfer to keep my axle and change backing plate out. Anybody know anyone who works at a dealer and could check part numbers I need the stopping power!
