    FLT L5 Billet DEAD?

I have this FLT trans that probably have on it 5 passes and 3000 miles most......

Today driving it at traffic, real slow, at a 175 temp it stop making gear changes and a code appears. arived home and scan it to see a P0757.

I just deleted, but parked the truck, not using it until I know what to check change or if it is time for a new Trans.

BTW, my engine is not putting all the power out, just mid of FLT trans life was at 7 psi, and one pass at 8 psi, and been at 8 psi ever since. Probably around 600 WHP or less.

Any tips in where to star checking?

Wow, that's general especially since it's uncommon for THEM to fail.

Found it, delete/remove/turn off P0757 and P0751 and problems will vanish.

How Come it did not show before, even at racing? The converter is a Precision Industries 3000 stall !

I'll hunt those codes in my tune rigth now, thanks Red

    turn it off.

The converter code issue is hit and miss. It shows on some and others it doesn't.

101, 102 and 103 should be set to 2, no MIL light and have a checkmark in the box.

Not sure who you have to do your tuning but these are the codes that are normally turned off with a high stall converter. PO751 and PO757. The issue is because the computer see's slippage due to the converter stall being higher than what the factory spec's are. Sounds like your trans went into a limp mode condition (3rd gear starts) which really is not the transmissions fault. It is only doing what the computer is telling it to do.

I think the title of this thread should read I have a code on my FLT Billet transmission! Need help! Vince
