I can get my hands on a set of 99 corvette heads that are ported. But how do these compare to the stock 6.0 heads?

Stock 6.0s flow better than stock LS1s stock for stock. But ported LS1s will outflow stock 6.0s.

What motor the ported LS1heads going on?

you're going to raise your compression with LS1 heads. 6.0s have a larger chamber. LS1Tech.com has the stats on the heads.

the 6.0 heads are just a far better head....the exhaust port design is totally different and much better. shorter/smaller exhaust port. just have your 6.0 heads milled a bit and have some MILD porting done on them (if you even think you need porting) and keep the 6.0s. i have stock 6.0 heads on my truck now that are milled .055 (i think...i really can't remember) and have a pretty simple port job with stock LS6 valves and they are the shit.

Yup, they are a good deal lighter too (around 65g vs 100g). I've seen complete sets of those valves sell for about $150 used with < 5k mi on them too.
