    6.0 into a 1992 K1500???

I recently joined this forum, nice place, and good stickies. I just got done not to long ago with my SAS on my truck. No when money permits I would really like to put in a engine. I want to stay away from carb and TBI. So I read a few stickies, so it seems doable. But What are somethings I'll need to know. I do realize that this most likly asked alot.

    Also will a 6.0 work with a 700R4?

i think me and you are in the same boat. i have an LQ9 out of and escalade but i havent had the money to buy the harness and other goodies. ive been told you can run the 700R4 just need and different flexplate, i plan to use the 700 until i can afford a T56. Good luck with the swap, sweet truck i would have some fun with that thing where i live!

one more question guys its been awhile since i last logged on and such... besides lack of funds and so on... where is a good place to find a good 6.0... i would like to avoid junk yards being as these clowns think there used 100K mile plus junk is worth 3200 bucks, when i can damn near get a new engine for that. So my question is where have you found to have the best deals on engines?

Honestly, Junk yards. Where do you live that they think they are worth so much? I'll buy a bunch up and sell them to them from around here in the DFW area.
