Best shortie headers for California people?

I have been poking around looking for info on the best shortie headers that I can use on a california truck....so they gotta have a CARB EO#....I would love to do long tubes....but I have to keep my cali registration, and I dont wanna deal with getting busted from the smog cops if i ever get pulled over or caught up in a rolling smog check point....YES...california sucks for all of the state approved speed parts....but its all I can do right now...
My truck is an 07 RCSB with a 5.3 in it....and in the future I would like to put a radix on it....unless STS decides to get a kit for the newer trucks cali legal from the BAR.....I am going to do a K&N, headers, exhaust, and i would like to do an LS6 cam all at once....if i have the cash for some heads (probrably not) i'm not sure if the patriots are the way to go for ported OE heads that keep the stock compression or what....
Thanks for any info you guys have....I was thinking about just diging through the internet, and looking up how big the primaries are on the smog legal headers are and compare them that way.....the primaries info is a wee bit under advertised on the shorties....

There is a set of Dynatech LT headers in our classified section for $450 shipped and they are legal in Cali if I remember correctly.
See my truck data in the "My Garage" section here... http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/my-ga...tml#post191709

The stock manifolds are actually pretty decent shorties.
IMO, not worth updating unless going to LT's, just wont see any real gains
    2002 Tahoe 4.8 - soon to be turbo'd - SOLD
    1989 Mustang - LX Vert - 351W-TT - 2inches of dust covering it
    2012 Raptor - 497rwhp at 10psi

Not worth it. Buy a new basic nitrous kit or a fancy used one for the same price.
