    steering box upgrade

    Im looking to upgrade the steering in my '88 rcsb since it has a lil play and I would like something a lil quicker. So I figure I would throw this out there and see if anyone knows a easy upgrade, like a gear box off another vehicle that will bolt on and give me a lil quicker ratio. I'm trying to stay cheap thats why I would like to find something off another vehicle. If anyone has any help or pointers please help me out.

    I think the 454SS had a quick ratio steering box. There are steering ratios listed in a lot of online steering box repair services. Google it.

    Adjust it. You'll be surprised how much more expensive the new one will seem compared to the free adjusted one.
