    stock gauges

    Hi everyone,
    I have a 93 ext cab started with a tbi 4.3 where i swapped a 5.7 tbi and now it has a 2002 6.0 with a 98' 4l60e.
The engines running and truck will drive just have a few things to work out with the driveshaft.
Other than that I need help wiring or tapping in for my stock gauges.
Will the stock oil psi gauge work off the signal from the 6.0
I figure the temp i can just put the original temp sensor somewhere in the cooling system to read temp.
    Voltage gauge already works
RPM have no clue...I know which wire is off the ecm for signal, thats about it
And speedometer...could I just tap my old vss wires into the new harness. unless they work under different signal.
I redid my own harness for the engine so I shouldn't have a prob if i could just get a little help
    Thanks

    vss

I just found the wire in the dash and spliced in the 4k output wire from my ecm and it seems to work just fine. Although I dont have cruise or abs but thats no biggie for me.

Cruise is actually easy. Be sure the cruise module is hooked up like it was stock, power, ground, control wires, then just take the vss wire from the module to your pcm vss wire, it'll work.

No sorry I don't remember what wire it was I used the wiring diagrams in the back of a Haynes manual. The oil pressure I bought a plate for the spot on the oil pan and plumbed in the factory oil pressure switch and the temp I bought the 3 prong switch from a 98 f body and the pigtail off the tbi tps sensor will work to splice in the 6.0 temp wires and the extra goes to your factory gauge. Although mine is off by about 20-30 degrees. Sorry didn't answer before now been away from home for a few days.
