    1BrokeC10... Motor Knock

    Ya'll know about this...

    Which led to this...

Had to go and pick up these...

    In order to do this...

Thanks to this nice little piece...

I would go a bit further, and start the tear-down, but I promised my 4 yr old that I'd have Christmas lights up & around today. Plus, my 2 yr old OFFICIALLY made TWO today. Thinking about going to pick up the lil runts from day school early... since I'm off every Friday this month! WOOHOOO!!!
Now... for those that didn't see the video (which I thought I posted here, but don't remember), here's your quiz for this go-'round:
What the HELL is this knocking noise?!?!?! :headscratch: I am pretty sure it's EVIDENT, but I'll post pics of suspect later. (click picture/link below)

Agree it sounds like a lifter bouncing off the cam. Bent pushrod or collapsed lifter?

Could also be a cracked flywheel. Check the material between the bolt holes at the crank center.

Other topic is in Racers Lounge. Started this in mech thread cuz I will post pics of teardown, and expose culprit. ;-). Other thread was to post primarily of race times in sig.

Not a bent pushrod. Rockers are solid. Some of posted opinions of bottom-end.

Thanks. I like the idea of a new topic, just reminding that we already guessed LOL. I'm curious to see what the cause is too.
