So I went to replace my stock spark plugs with new ones tonight and I can't get the wires off the plugs. I pulled and wiggled to the point where I thought I was going to pull the metal contact off the wire. Any ideas?

Turn the boot around, spin it. Once it will turn freely on the plug it will pull right off. Make sure you have the coil end off when you turn the boot end.

Yep, twist and pull. BTW, many times even the pros pull the ends off the wires. I have a pair on long, 135* bent needle nose I used to leverage them off.
Yeah--do what Greg said...spin them around. They sometimes stick to the plugs and won;t come free by pulling. Break the seal, then pull stright back.

Sounds good. Thanks for the info. I guess I can always buy a new set of wires in case I break one. I can always return them if I don't need them.

MSD Superconductors FTW
Thanks for the info guys. Sure enough, I twisted the the boot @ the plug and it basically pulled right off.
