    Checking the Milage

    Is there anyway to check the milage on a GenIII motor after its been removed from the truck? Is it somehow stored on the PCM?

    when I bought my cluster they programmed it. i think allen might be able to do it as well, not sure though

    pop the heads off, take a look at the block an cylinders. it wont give you the exact miles but heck it will show you how warn everything is..

    Head gaskets are reusable, head bolts are not(Someone correct me please)

    Does anyone actually reuse their head gaskets? As cheap as they are I toss them every time.
