when i drop my truck, what all do i need to change?

I wanna do a 2/4 drop using THIS kit. i see shocks are recommended to be changed when i do the drop kit. i was wondering if i should replace my coils and leafs when i do the drop as well. any help is much needed and appreciated!

nah not the coils or leafs. if you replace the coils with like after market ones, you might get some that are real spungy or too stiff

springs and leafs will be fine just do the kit with new shocks... the shocks have a shorter stroke on them so that they dont bottom out...

i need to put new leafs on my truck it has over 250k miles on them and the truck leans a little bit from all the weight of the tank being on the left side all the time...

im getting the everythings lol. the bumps are so hard now and im running stock everything except shackles in the back. i think my truck needs a good tighten all the bolts day lol. its gotten to where i really wanna get another vehicle and park it cuz im afraid im gonna mess it up. ive got a 98 rcsb 4.3/m5 sitting at my parents house that i could start on but if i do that it'll end up with a 6.0 or 6.2 fully built with a t56 behind it and i cant afford that right now. i could prob get it for $500 from my brother in law... ive been thinking about it any thoughts on that?

That's called the dough boy sits on the left side all the time while driving. Ha! trying to blame it on the gas tank

That kit will work good Byrd, It sounds (no pun intended) like it's time to replace all your factory bushings. Polyurethane bushings are nice.

I have yet to see a C1500 that doesn't lean to the left. Is that a political statement?
