    I mean this in the nicests way......Where is the 650hp? I mean I have a Edelbrock/Musi 502 in my 1967 c10 and it has aluminum heads, dart intake, you know all the stuff Pat Musi says and uses to make 648hp on pump gas. I can't see a SBC with cast iron heads, dual plane, edelbrock carb, and HEI making 650hp. Unless you have a couple of kits....right?

    If I am misunderstanding your screen name and it has nothing to do with your truck. I am sorry. By the way, the truck will or would look sweet with a 18 inch tire under it.

    Ditch the edelbrock and get a holley on there it made a world of difference on my el camino

    your nuts if you think it takes mega dollars and top of the line stuff to make 650 crank hp. Sure its no cake walk nor cheap, but it doesnt take a 500" engine with dart intakes, etc.

    The top engine builders in the US competed in HotRod magazine building small blocks to maximum dyno HP numbers at the crank and only a couple could get 650 HP corrected on the dyno. Its not as easy as you think.

    You are "nieve" if you think the parts in that video on that SBC are making 650hp. I know how much it takes to build a 650hp gas motor and how much it takes to build a 1000rwhp Diesel. It is easier with a Diesel. I do it everyday at DARKSIDE DIESELWORX in Spring Texas. "Pump Gas" is the key phrase here. You obviously have never built a "MAX" effort motor or a stout street motor. "Camel Hump" heads aren't going to get it done. Trying to be nice here.......
