Got My Truck Back With New Tranny

I knew it all a long and i was bitchin about it all the time to some of the guys on here that i knew somethin was wrong with the tranny for monthes before it blew up. The guy i had rebuild my tranny was absolutely awsome and showed me every part that came out of mine...unbelievable! He said he never saw a tranny blow up like mine did in his entire career. He also told me that the parts that he took out were not so-performance parts that my last tranny guy said he put in. I had 4.10s installed recently, but at the same time the tranny wasnt acting right so i wasnt seeing half the potential of the gears. Is absolutely amazing how good the truck runs now!! Its a freakin beast for what it has done to it. Now it runs from 0-125 like nothing now! im so damn happy with it. The only reason why it stops at 125 is the rev limiter and i really dont need to push it further than that. I Guess before the converter wasnt unlocking and making the truck lug all the time, and when it was shifting, it was hitting violently until it just couldnt take it anymore. Almost everything in the tranny was either cracked or broken including the case. Now i just have to make this one last a long time

Awesome Dave--I am glad you got it back up and running the way it should--with a nicely built unit to handle all of the abuse! What type of converter are you running?
