    Question Upgrade From LS6 Heads?

On a stock LS6 engine, what heads would you recommend as an upgrade for street use? Thanks

You could also go to an L92 setup I think....not sure what that would do to your compression but it's worth looking into.

remove the heads and send them to WCCH for full port and valve upgrades. Their price is very good, too. They are a site sponsor and do awesome work.

AFR's,TF's if you want great heads and have the $$. Patriot heads or ported 243's for most bang for your buck. Call WCCH. L92's won't fit your bore size. You beat me to it!

I am going with the Patriot Peformance Stage II 243s... just like TxSilverado has. My motor is an LS1 though.

Patriot here also. Gunnar is straight forward with you and they do great work. I'm going to sell my heads and go with stage 3 next. You can't beat their prices either. What kind of numbers are you looking for? We installed a FAST 78 mm intake, cam and Kooks headers on an 02 ZO6 and it put out 450 rwhp with the stock heads and cat back exhaust.

My numbers suck! 360 rwhp and 370 rwtq were the last but that's with 1 5/8" primary headers and I didn't have time to tune that day. Now I've retuned and as soon as I put my headers on I'll dyno again. I'm hoping to put down 425 - 450 rwhp and then I'll put the magnacharger on.
