    SCan help

    ok, i am looking for advice on a scan tool.
    I already have Auto tap. and I would like to get somethign to read codes and do crankshaft relearns. basically i want somethign that has a little more options then just atap.
    what are your suggestions??

    Will hptuners take the place of a Tech 2 scanner? What does an Autotap do? Thanks Art...

    well atap just scans and lets you reads sensors.
    hptuners lets you tune, scan and reset things.
    but i may be wrong. im just now learning this stuff.

    These two things are completely different. HPT is a tuner, but if offers some nice features that the techII does.

    I would recommend the techII for a shop that needs a scanner and troubleshooting tool
    Hpt is great for the individual or shop into hi performance.
