What is this and where does it go?

When I removed my intake manifold, I found this laying on valley tray. Looks like it had been there a while but not sure.

My thoughts are that it came from inside the fuel pressure regulator b/c I had it changed some years back, and maybe someone just dropped the old parts under the manifold when they changed it out.

    Anyone know what this is?

The oring looks like a fuel injector oring. Not sure of the other part, haven't seen one before.

The other part is from the classic edition of Trivial Pursuit. Were there any of the pie pieces in there?

I'll be sure to check all the O-rings on the injectors. I plan on cleaning the injectors anyway.

These are the only 2 pieces I found.

DING! DING! DING! We have a winner! Casey guessed correctly! Yeah, it is probably some of the old parts from when you changed the FPR...

Next question is how did they get under the intake manifold?

Thanks guys and good one about the Trivial Pursuit.

I figured the parts came from the FPR.
I had the FPR replaced at the dealership some years back when my truck was still under warranty, so...

The story behind it is that I could hear a clicking noise every time I turned the ignition on. The dealership said I had low fuel pressure so they replaced the fuel filter. When that did not work they replaced the fuel pump. When that did not work they replaced the FPR and that got it. So, I guess they just did sloppy work and dropped the old parts in between the head and the manifold.
