    she gave up on me

well, she let go on me. the motor is shot. just happened. i was on my way back home from the auto parts store. and suddenly the engine started bogging down. but it has been doing that recently. probably early signs of the problem. then i started smelling something burning. probably piston rings, or rod bearings. so i found a place to pull over and as soon as i let off the gas the engine cut off. and that was it. no oil is coming out, i dont see any holes. but it wont turn over.

i know what I'm gonna do now though. I'm gonna sell the procharger, find another engine to drop in, with much lower miles, mine had 160k, way too many for forced induction. with the money from the sale, i'm gonna get a low mileage 5.3 or 6.0 if i can find a cheap one. and get nice set of performance heads, swap my cam and springs from the blown motor. get hptuners, and maybe a small shot of the juice. and call it a day, all this modding is killing me.

its a long story and i look like a fool in the end but yeah it definitely was the oil pump taking a crap that caused it. but isn't it odd that there was no ticking before it stopped. i thought there would be loud ticking, i didn't hear anything.

i was kinda sad, but then i started making plans, so now im selling the procharger to fund my plan, nothing crazy. im getting to old to get crazy anymore. probably a low mileage used 5.3, send out my heads to T.E.A to be done, larger cam, and somewhere around a 100 shot. plus hptuners
