    Another typical mustang owner...

Well I have a new co-worker at work who has a 99-04 model 4.6L Mustang GT 5speed.... Yesterday me and him left at the same time and I could tell by the way he was driving beside me he was wanting to race me from a roll around 50mph..I backed down of course cause my truck isnt setup like that...Well, this morning I asked him what he has all done to it... CAI, shorty headers, Xpipe, Exhaust, and gears.... Asked him if he has ever ran it at the track and he said he ran a 9.5' in the 1/4... ( I looked at him and was like uh huh..Cool!)..... I sure hope he meant that in the 1/8th because he sure looked like a dumbass when he said that to my face....

Dont get me wrong, I like mustangs and stuff

but if he is running 9.5's in the 1/8th. I'm feeling kinda sorry for him. My truck is almost running close to that as heavy as my truck is with the few bolt ons i have on now. Ford needs to step up there game.

So, pretty much it is a stock GT with a CAI and full exhaust...and maybe 3.73's... Whooptie Freakin-Dooo! Does this clown know how to launch a manually shifted tranny? 9.5 sounds slow for what he has...

haha thats too funny.. reminds me of when my neighbors son moved back in and brought his 97 convertable cobra over...pos...rag top was all hacked up, was missing both fog lights, and left the biggest oil puddle i have seen in awhile...best part he had a "intimidator" emblem in the front grill where the cobra emblem used to be....his words" ah it runs high 11's low 12's in the quarter. they call that the 03 and 04 cobra......

but yeah, the 2V cars are pretty damn lazy until you toss a blower or nitrous on them, earlier 4v cars were very lame (sn95 years) but rev very nice!
