    help with harness..

a buddy is installing the harness for me and called with a question..this is a nelson harness for a 2000 LS1, auto.

he says on one of the relays there are two terminals, one labeled L87, and one labeled 87. says on terminal 87, there is a slip on connector, he calls it a spade connector, but there is no wire coming out of it. he says that terminal L87 has a wire coming out that goes to the fusebox.

what is supposed to be hooked up to terminal 87, if anything? any ideas?

on the other relay, both terminals, L87 and 87, have wires coming out.

    thanks

Is that a fan harness or a complete engine harness?

I'm not sure what to say, it doesn't look like our harness unless it was modified. 87 is usually goes to the powered device.

give us a call if you need help with it, but like I said, it's hard to tell what's been done to it.

btw, it looks like a fan harness, the only relay we use on the engine harness is a GM OEM fuel pump relay, looks like you have two bosch style box relays there.

If you can tell Allen whom you bought the harness from he may be able to tell you if he built one for him. It didn't really look like NP's work from what I've seen. Guys make junky harnesses and sell them under the NP name saying they bought them from him. Take pictures of the whole harness and he can probably tell just from looking at it if it's their work. If you notice, the Bosch relays don't even have the fixed sockets attached to them, not quality work.
