does the nelson tune do everything that the superchips programmer does? i would like to change to get more out of my truck, if it's possible. any other feedback about other mod's that could help this daily driver would be appreciated.

    for instance:

    shift points
    speed limiter
    rev limiter
    trans press.
    trans firm
    91 oct tune
    adjust elec. fan's for 160* t stat

what could the power outputs be with the nelson tune on my truck, (see signature)
i see that the superchips has gotten 20 hp, 32 lbft.

    thanks

The Nelson tune is a full custom tune specifically for your engine combination. He will tune what ever needs to be tuned and then some. When you make more changes to your engine combination, transmission, rear end or tire size he can send you an updated tune to get you rolling. With his lifetime tunes he gives you two free tune updates per year, you just pay for the shipping of the PCM. One of the best things is that he sends you a PCM to test out to see if you like the tune for a few days before you return your PCM to him. If you want to keep your stock PCM he will sell you a PCM(additional fee) with the tune.

a custom tune will always out-perform a handheld crapper. do it right the first time. allen can help you do that.

I would like to also know how much HP a Nelson Tune will give you on average?

It all depends on what you have to work with. The best tune will not work without supporting mods sometimes. Say you have a plugged cat convertor. The best tune in the world won't make HP. It's best if you work with your tuner to do supporting mods to get the most out of your tune. If your engine is in good condition, you have a good exhaust and cold air intake you can easily pick up 40 HP. Allen has a post on here telling us about how to pick up 100 hp on a budget.
