    Well, I think it is official, but I am a hopeless romantic and I am going to hold out there is still a chance its okay.

    Plugs 5 & 7.

    That's the result of some serious detonation. I saw that when I leaned the engine out on nitrous. Not a pretty picture and it does nothing good for the cylinders and head. Good luck!

    Be sure to install a fuel pressure gauge for when you get it going again. You may have run out of fuel, causing the detonation. Boost puts huge demands on your fuel supply, I'm sure you know that already.

    Yup.

    I am convinced the LQ4 is more suited to boost than the LQ9.

    Oh well, whats $5,000 among friends!?!?!?!????!!

    Update:
    Well, got the S/C, fuel rails, coil packs, intake, valve covers & rockers off. The intake rattles like a spray paint can. There are shards of metal which I can only assume are pieces of pistons.

    Also, one of the #5 cylinder pushrods is bent. Anyone got an extra TR pushrod so I don't have to buy a set?
