Put an HSW dry kit on the truck last week. Made it to the track with it Friday night. I usually don't even hit the track in the middle of summer. Pisses me off when the heat slows me down but decided to try it out with the nitrous, new exhaust and stock TC.

Without the gas was running 12.8's. Everything was down, short times and top end. Best 60's I was pulling were 1.8's. Don't know if that was heat or the stock converter.

Eventually wound up with a new best of 12.12 @ 111.8 after a few shake down runs with the nitrous. 50 shot dry right out of the hole. The truck absolutley loved it and so did I. I just cranked up the meth controller and didn't have to change a thing tune wise. AFR fell right into place with just a couple minor lean spots right after the shifts. I think it will go 11's when I get the PI converter back in backed up with some good air

Made enough power to break traction in 2nd. I ususally shift 4wd -> 2wd right after the 1-2 shift. If I did that on the gas it would break traction and I'd have to pedal it. Last run and the 12.12 I just carried 4wd a little further into 2nd gear. Course this on the stock Firestones with 32 PSI.

    Good times!

congrats! Sounds like good times to me. That's a 50 shot before the MAF?

Yes, but I'm speed density. The MAF is still hooked up and I wanted to read the sensor/airflow with the nitrous. Straight nozzle and drilled a hole directly in the end of the cone filter.

How does it know to add fuel? Most guys that go that route rely on the MAF to increase the fuel flow.

It doesn't. I also have methanol injection. I just cranked up the methanol to compensate.

None whatsoever. The only component in my drive line that hasn't complained.
