I don't know the going prices on them but I wouldn't touch it for more than $4k myself. Bed, frame damage, bent rear axle, tweaked spring possibly, single wheel axle...

Yeah I would leave it alone.
2006 ecsb silverado, AFE Cai, Jet Maf, Pacesetter Ceramic Coated Lt's, true duals with Dynomax Bullets, cats and o2's....still emissions legal!

dont know how much the engine is worth but the allison transmission is nice(if applicable). if u were to buy it id part it out. plenty of people need a hd hood and grille and there are parts of the truck still good. id think u could part it out and make a lil money off of it but as far as trying to revive that truck its prob a lost cause.

Dude, who is the guy picking his nose in the pics? That is some good camera work getting him diggin for gold...

Red is right about the possible frame problems. Why is the bed off in the first place? Was it converted to a flat bed? If that was the reason for the bed being off, it may be worth $5-$5.5k. It is a 3500 DRW---look at the rear axle--its a dually set up. A single wheel was probably just bolted up temporarily... It has a lot of potential though...Duramax, Allison, 14 bolt, dual tanks, brushguard, nerf bars, etc. I'd research more--Carfax, etc. Carefully look at frame, rear leafs, etc. What you need it for? IMHO, I'd do it. But don't give more than $5.5K....

Look at that right rear axle. As hard of a hit that it would have taken to bend that thing as far as it did would have probably destroyed the bed. The bed was most likely removed to get rid of the damage evidence and was probably worthless after the accident. The frame could be actually stretched on the right side. Where's our resident Waco paint and body guru?

It had a tool bed on it. Not sure of what happened to it. I am going to look at it in a few minutes. Will ask more questions and I am bringing my resident mechanic with me.

Damn, good eye Red. So that 14 bolt is trash? With the evidence still unknown, would you safely say a new rear axle, rear leafs, and rear frame mounts?

Frame is FUBAR bent bad too bad for me to try to have it fixed. I think it needs to be parted out. in the accident it lost all of its coolant and well no front end damage visible. Key word visible. The engines aluminum parts looked as if they had been through at least 20 winters in the snow and salt.
    I passed.
    Thanks for the help.
Oh by the way the first pictures were not taken by me. I would have noticed that the frame rails were bent and taken pics of them.
And prolly never bothered with my post.
