reason i ask is, once someone makes a thread, and a member post under that thread, its not showing individual boxes its coming up like in html.. instead of individual boxes...

thats how it comes up each time i go to a thread i am now checking settings i pinged the server where the site is located runs and seems fine, not a connection problem .. checking all settings now which the member control panel doesnt really have lots of options like vbulletin..

wtf i fixed it somehow it was changed from standard to linear mode in the post options... anyway all is well now ...

good idea that was my initial thought. anyone know why they even have the other modes?

well i noticed that standard and linear are pretty much the same modes ,i checked lol, but anyway mine was changed to outline how and by who i never know unless i done it myself without knowing since i type so fast who knows and who gives a &#036;hit.. why they are there hmmm personally i run vbulletin and it has a few more different modes why it has it i have no idea since everyone stays on standard the only logical explanation i could see would be the different in the mac vs. windows resolution. ie: screen appearance... or even in the pixalation of the overall screen ... thus using outlined would be easier to just read the outlined post, but who knows this is only my 2 cents ..
