I'm going to buy a tach, not cuz i need it, but because i feel the truck is just lacking it...lol. This may sound stupid, but i want one that is either 2 1/16", or 2 5/8" that will fit in a single gauge pod on the pillar. my truck is nothing fancy, just a work truck, and i cant see myself putting a huge 5 inch monster tach on my dash. I think a small one will look good, but my question is what RPM limit would you get? I have the 4.3/5speed. I don't know what the rev limit is on that truck, and i dont want a 10,000 rpm tach if i am only shifting at 4,000 max. would a 7,000 rpm tach look good? or how bout 5,000? sorry for the long post, but thats for all the help. Summit has quite a bit of selection in those sizes.
