Thread: Shift kit

  1. #1
I bought a TB stall and its currently just sitting in the garage. Since its not that big of stall do i need to install a shift kit or will a corvette servo do fine for the mean time. My friend says i don't need it, but i just want to be sure. Every day i see it, i want to put it on but i don't have the $$ for the shift kit. If i don't need the shift kit, i'll put the stall on, but if i need the shift kit i'm going to sell it. Btw, the tranny only has a corvette servo and about 70,000 miles.

It will work fine with the servo.

Yeah put it in, you'll see a little gain; when you can afford to install the shift kit and then have the truck tuned and the difference will be night and day.
