I have had it happen once but the idle was set kinda low for a cam.... If you dont have a cam yet... I dont know..
ihad a thumper cam,,but now on stock
Did you get retuned for the stock cam?
yup,ive never had this problem,i recently sprayed about 3x ,,maybe that has sumthin to do bout it?
i checked to see if it would do it again and it hasnt
what plugs do you have?
If it did that after spraying it with nitrous you've probably went lean and ruined the plugs.
damm,,i have the factory acdelco in there still.yup it did that about 25 minutes after.i stopped to talk to a buddy,we were talking in front of my ride and it turned off,,sux.

put some tr6's in there and call it good. look at the electrodes when you take the old ones out. Iridiums and nitrous are a volitile cocktail.
i got a brand new set rite here,,im gonna slap them in rite now,,hope i didnt mess up anything
Take some pics if you melted some electrodes

anyways i took off a plug its the 41-985 iridium,,well the electrode is there but the tip looks pink red

Were those the plugs it was built with? Those WERE the updated ones for my LQ4 (since superceded again) but I didn't know the newer ones came with them.

cool thanks,,just finished putting them on,,i noticed on some plugs,,on the threed part it was wet with looked to be like oil.hmmmmmmmmmm but the main part of the plugs were not wet etc
That's bad if it's oil. That prolly fuel. The pink red usually comes from running an octane booster. Plugs that have seen some nitrous usually have a greenish color
You probably had too hot of a plug and thats what caused the problem after spraying.
Hey bro since Ive had my verter installed mine has died twice!! I have to call Nelson on monday!! Tyler told me the idle tables prolly need adjusted. But mine surges from 350-1500 rpms wthout even touchin the pedal, is that what yours does?

yup,i have thre tr6 now and sprayed it plenty of times with no problems
naw mine just did it that one time,,it now runs fine.hope u get your fixed bro
