buy 6.0, throw away everything but the crank and block and build from there. Get forged rods, forged pistons, quality rings, put good heads on it, aftermarket cam, Cadillac or LS7 lifters, hardened pushrods, roller rockers, main studs, head studs, bearings, complete gasket set... that ought to drain your bank account :laugh:. Stroke it for more displacement and you can lighten your wallet another $800 minimum using Eagle parts.
I know I have about $6000 in mine in parts alone for the 408 and cheapie PatriotPerformance heads.
