What's crazy most of the guys on this site go to school, work, and mod their trucks.
Bahahahahahahahaha that's a good one man. .......... oh wait your serious? Try another forum Mr. 3 posts. You couldn't be more wrong. Sure you won't gain a ton of torque or bottom end, but you can and most often will gain something. I just installed LTs over the weekend and I am all Mickie D's ..... I'm loving g it!
Flipped manifolds & front mount ftw!
I was actually upset with the 12.6 until I watched the video. On street tires, I blew them off for 300 feet in 2wd and ran a 13.9 @ 109. In 4x4 I ran 12.6 @ 110 but blew them off at the line and lost .15 off my 60' from usual, and .38 from my 1/8 in San Antonio.
Its a CCSB z71, cam, stall, bolt ons, nitrous. Needs a set of slicks and a 2wd run.
Its also a 6.2 L, it started off stock with good power, back in the day when I ran a 13.7 I had spent 300$ on a cam kit, 450 on nelson tune, 650 on a yank, 400 on longtubes and 400 on true track so 2200$ netted 341rwhp 323tq and a 13.7. Its not always how much money you spend if you buy the right stuff, gained 82 rwhp over stock.
How hard was the 6.2 swap? Since you have a 2010 a 6.2 wouldn't have been a factory option right? I'm keeping my 5.3, Allen will be doing the work on mine. Just curious about the 6.2 swap. It wasn't a big deal to me when I bought my 2011, I had a 10 sec car then.
Mine came factory. It was a special order, but they were mass produced.
