I've been trying to pm farmtruc for some help, but I guess he's busy as always tuning .
I am ready for a retune and need some help I've got long tubes, cai, a different exhaust and some 305/50r20s since my last tune. I need some help choosing gears and some other stuff. I have the stock 3.73s and cruising @ 65 my engines only at 1800 rpm. I know I could use some 4.11s or 4.56 but don't know which to use. Also I want to get some e3 diamond fire plugs and some 8mm spark plug wires, but don't know which gap to use since the tune is different. Sorry for the length, but I need the info so I can get to work.

Thanks, boony

4.56 would be about 22% increase in RPM and 4.10s would be about 10% more.

if 1800 now, approximately 1980 with 4.10s and 2196 with 4.56s. Do you have a 6 speed? Those tires are right at 32" tall, correct?

I want to get some e3 diamond fire plugs[/b]
Please save your money and dont waste your time with these plugs they are complete shit. If your truck will even run with them, You at best will get 10k before it spits and sputers only running on a few cylnders. They sell this crap at the parts store next to my work. I get customers all the time wanting me to intstall them. I have installed 100's of these plugs and every F-ing one came back sooner or later. There were also many that would miss fire like a MF and would not even take the e3's. I would rather run the champion in my lawnmower than this POS... Complete shit... Stay away

Thanks, I woulda been pissed off if my Tahoe ran like shit after those plugs, I guess I'll stick with NGKs and some decent wires. I have a 4L60e, not 6 speed (I wish), and yeah they are just a tad over 32" tall.

Sorry forgot to mention, the 20s aren't on yet, that was with my 275/70r16s.

I would run 4.56 minimum. I wish I had of went 4.88 instead of 4.10s in my truck. The tires I was running was right at about 32in with 20s

I've got 29.25" diameter tires and 4.10s and believe I easily could have gone with the 4.56s. I make long road trips in mine some times so I opted for the 4.10s but keep thinking I should have just bit the bullet and went with 4.56s.

I'm running 4.56's with my 33's and it seems about right. I would go 4.56.
