Thread: HP Tuners timing adjustment

    Can HPT tune each cylinder with different timing. A friend of mine tunes imports in austin and he said they run diff timing in the rear cylinders to keep em from runnin lean. Said it keeps em cooler. Apparently the added heat in the rear cyls also add to the detonation threat. I'm learnin' all kinds of crap.

    BTW I ordered the edelbrock intake today !!!

    So you do have a hair....

    I've not seen or heard of any programmer that will do that with the factory PCM. You could buy the BigStuff3 and do it.

    Can you transplant ass hair to the scalp? Where it&#39;s needed.

    No you cannot adjust individual cylinder spark timing with HPT.

    no you cant do that, although it seems like a good idea. Real Time Tuning is the best advancement so far.

    I&#39;m considering buying a stand alone FMU. It allows individual cylinder fuel and timing control. Therefore, you wouldn&#39;t have the "weak cylinder" issue. Gonna try the manifold first. Just don&#39;t wanna keep droppin &#036;&#036;&#036; everytime we "try" tuning.
