Thread: Should I buy HPT?

  1. #1
Will it be easier for Allen to "fine tune" my tune( from him) if I can get log info, etc? Also I think I heard that he can email you your tune if you have HPT to make changes and such. Jst wondering if it is worth the $500.

    Thanks,

    Scott

HPT website is $500, and it is more than worth it to learn to use the software. Now they dont give you 2 licenses like they used to, they give you 8 credits. A full year license is like 6 now or a single vehicle license is 2 credits.

The license expires now? If that's true, I'll never buy HPT. I'll go back to LS1Edit for a lifetime license for my one vehicle rather than have to pay money every year for a $500 software I already purchased. That would be like those 30 day free trial softwares you download from the internet, if you like it you have to buy it. Now, if you already bought it and one year from now it quits working until you renew you license with them, I'd be furious. I don't give a crap about tuning unlimited number of vehicles the same model and year as mine, I'll be happy tuning mine and mine alone for as long as I want with no additional charges.

Sounds like HPT is getting too big for their britches.
