Alright, I havent been here for a while sorry. Im just starting to do my own tuning with HPT. Im haveing some issues, especially until my temps come up, but I have some low speed issues too, I think may be related to teh MAF screen being removed. I plan to eventually go to SD, when I do, will the MAF screen even matter? I wouldnt think it does, because you arent using it, but Im still new to this, so I figure Id get more opinions.

Thanks

What year is your 6.0? My brother had a problem when he removed the screen, he had to get a new maf, so he went withthe Granetelli, it's been set up to not be so lean withthe air intake on.
BTW his is a 05 6.0 HO like mine.

yeah get the 1 bar MAP white1, it will enable you to use both octane tables as well as a couple other tables they add with that OS. You can remove the MAF and put straight through tubing in its place, but if you do that get a stand alone IAT sensor and tap into the intake tube and MAF plug.

Why would I need the 1 bar? Im new to tuning, but I thought that was more for FI applications. Also I dont care about the other octane table. All I ever run is premium. Its .20 cents more per gal x 26 gal.(at dead empty)=$5.20. Ill spend the extra $5 for the extra performance.

Just do the SD tune and be done with it. Then you can 86 the MAF all together.
