I usually lurk around the full size chevy forum and contacted Tbyrne Motorsports this last week and ordered a Westers tune. However I think I may have changed my mind after searching (and searching, and searching) many forums.

From what I hear, Nelsons is the way to go. But I would like to hear from the 2500 HD owners how their trucks have performed. I have the '04 Crew cab 4X4 that I use for delivery of products for my business and also have a commercial snow plowing business on the side. This is my everyday driver, but I do want a noticeable gain in power.

With the gas prices surging (In Iowa were at $2.45/gal for 89 octane and over $2.55 for 91 octane) I am not sure I want to do the 93 hot tune, but Im pretty sure I would not be happy with just the 89 tune. Im assuming Nelsons has a 89/91 dual tune (hot??).

As far as TM, I have hear with the 80 transmission that most can be removed. But is this something I want to do if I plow snow?? I rarely, ever tow anything.

Any advise would help. Really want to hear how everyone else has their HD setup and how it's working for them. Thanks , Jason
