guys, I can't remember, if I get a 295/45/18 wheel/tire combo, will Allen be able to run a new tune to correct the speedo (it would be 5% off from my stock 255/70/16 2wd tires).

    Thanks,
    Andrew

yeah you will need a retune to get the speed right. its about a 28.45" tire compared to the factory 30"

    old mod list: H/C/I/N/E/G 408
new mod list: 5.3, gears/posi, mufler and tune : (

my 285 sport kings are 32.5". The 295 will be larger than that. Allen had mine set at 32.8 and I was 4 mph off according to my Autotap, so i had him reset it to 32.4 to account for flex and its dead on all the way up to 120!

I wish I had some big hills to roll down so I too could run 120 mph

I speed on I-40, its the best thing to come out of Arkansas, although Bill Clinton would argue with that one!

No problem on the tune, it's probably best to lay a straight edge across the tire and measure the actual height. Some tires are off by .5" because of thread and psi.

thanks and let me know when you're ready.
