    Thumbs up

OKay I purchased a mail order tune from a known company. I have been having problems with this company and it took them 3 weeks to get me my tune. When I got my tune it did not work correctly. Shifting was horrible. When i was doing 70 on the freeway id been almost at 3k. when Id try passing a vehicle it would shot up to 6k but not shift all you would hear was the motor reaving. well I called this company and they said that tuning a core pcm is tough and they have had problems in the past with core dealer pcm. But if Id send them my orginal stock pcm they would garnity that it would work. So my question is he blowing smoke or correct. I dont have time for my truck to be down for a day do to a new job and outside work activities. But i will if he is correct thanks for the help.

It could be just a bad PCM, try letting him flash your stock PCM and send it back to you, then you will know if hes full of it or not. By the delivery time it sounds like you are a Westers cutomer?

Allen's tunes make more power than either one of the other mail order tunes, what are these people thinking! lol I dont think I could imagine going with anyone else after what Allen did to my truck! The truck actually has balls now!

Yup thats the kind of reason why I went with a nelson tune. My truck did that but it was cause the 3-4 clucth pack took a hike. Like my sig says no tm=no tranny
