Before I found this site, I tried my buddy's Hypertech, another buddy's Superchip, and I finally bought a bullydog power pup. The bullydog was HANDS DOWN the best of the 3 as far as power went.

Finally broke down last week and ordered a nelson tune. The truck would not stay idling in gear. I turned the throttle screw about 1/16 of a turn, raised rpm about 150, and the truck runs smoother then it did stock.

Took it for a drive, shifts smoother cruising (the gf was complaining about the handhelds jerking shifts) but feels VERY FIRM at WOT. The truck HAULS now. Kickdowns are little higher, shifts at a higher rpm, so there is no lag right after the shift. Feels amazing.

So for anyone who thinks a handheld is good enough. You're wrong. Get a tune. DEFINITELY worth the money.

Thanks Allen!
