I've Just installed My Whipple charger and i am finishing the install with the use of the hand held programer and for some reason the handheld programer renders the car un able to start once the preformance tuning has been written to the PCM? any suggestions?

Yeah, put it back stock and call Allen and have him program your PCM for maximum performance!!!! Sell the whipple programmer on Ebay to recover some of your costs. Allen is the man for PCM programming with Vortec and LS1s.

I guess if you've been reading the forums here any time at all you know that already though, huh.

What kind of truck/engine and what boost are you running?

The handheld is meant for a stock truck, you've outgrown that, a nice custom tune will get you running.
If you don't mind, I'd like to suggest some 42lb injectors and rid the truck of those nasty aux. injectors.

thanks and good choice on the charger!

Yeah I have a whipple supercharger on my truck to. I got allen to do the tune for me and it turned out great. I have my truck runnig 12.41@108 with only 8 psi so I cant complain. I would also get the 42 lb injectors like allen said because thats what I running and havent ran out of fuel yet anyway good luck with your truck

Sounds like we have some work left to do on my truck. Is that with or without NX?
