Is there anyone on here doing there own tuning? If not what are the tuners using? I have been working on this escalade, and he already had a chip done for hie procharger. Now he added gears, converter, and had the trans redone. It needs to be reprogramed. You can tell when it shifts it takes timming out at the end of first gear, like it is hitting a flat spot. Thde reason I ask is because this guy would like to do more stuff to this truck, but to spend 500 dollars on top of whatever he adds everytime...... Any help or sugestions?????

On a sepreate note this thing went 14.16 before the trans work. Man it halls ass now. Easy 13.8 truck.

ls1 edit is what they are using. but they have the unlimited version. you can get a nelson tune for that beast to. it is only shipping for upgrades for the life of the vehicle. if you are going to try to do it yourself then i would go to the hp tuners. it has the edit abilities and a logging software to check it all out,.

Good thing about hptuners is that once you get good at editting you can edit all the vehicles like your's, same year, that you want. LS1Edit is one license locked to one PCM unless you pay a small fortune for an unlimited license.

I can't say enough good things about the improvements in my truck after it's Nelson Tune. It really woke up.
No more trucks, but this is what I used to have. 2000 GMC Sierra, 6.0L-LQ4, Built 4L60, LS6 Cam, The Other Guys Headers, 3 inch exhaust and 7 chamber flowmaster, 43lb injectors, Nelson Tuning, Drop - 3/4 McGaughys Spindles, Bell Tech Shackles & Hangers. Best time 13.59 @ 106
