    best Tuning program?

i have the nelson tune, but i've heard of custom tuning people with labtops that can get upwards of 75 hp on a stock truck. it's not my place to point out to people that don't know anything, but can this be achieved? i've seen nelson tunes destroy the 10-15 hypertech-superchips by getting around 30-35hp. any info greatly appreciated

anyone that says they can tune in 75 more horsepower out of a stock GM truck tune is full of crap.

yeah, 75 is out of there but you will see better results with a live tune (i.e. via laptop) than with a mail-order tune or programmer/chip

As long as you are very specific about what you want out of your mail order, shift points, pressure, time, % tourque reduction, Total timining, etc. Nelson will nail your WOT tune about as close as you can get. Now from his mail order to the dyno he might squek out a few more horses (not to many) The Live tune will help out with drivability issues, if you have any. I get from your post you are saying 75 HP over Nelsons tune? Ill believe that when me **** turns purple and smells like rainbow sherbert! The only way to get those numbers is with a cam, heads, or power adder.
