Thread: Hp Tuners or Efi Live

    Hp Tuners or Efi Live

Which one do most of you guys use, also is there a way to have a motor tune on the truck and then when the bottle comes on go to a nitrous tune, like this guy said

You can make it to when the nitrous kicks in, it automatically pulls the timing, based on how much load is on the motor. This way you dont have to flip an extra switch to make sure your nitrous tune is on. Run around in your NA tune, when you hit the jug, the computer will automatically pull timing.

hptuners and the only way is to have a dry shot where you can do a tune like that because it sprays through the MAF and then senses the colder air and pulls the timing and adds more fuel...you can tune a wet shot like what you are talking about because it sprays after the MAF and cant pick up thats it's lean until it reaches the o2's

Yeah , you can do that with EFIlive .
I think you have to use COS5 to do it though (512mb PCM's only , 00-02)

Don't worry about it then, I doubt you'll end up pulling any timing, at most 1deg.
