Thread: First HEMI kill

    Finally got to race my first Hemi last night. I was going west on the Beltway feeder road and this black lowered dodge was beside me at the stop light. I could hear him beside me but didn't think too much of it until he started goosing the throttle a llittle ahead of me. I floored it and saw him in my rear view mirror. He gets up beside me again and punches it. I'm in third gear and don't even down shift, just floor it and I waste him again not even shifting into 4th. We get up to the stop light and he pulls beside me but he's about 3 feet from me and I see Hemi on the right front side of his hood. I roll down my window and signal him to roll his window down and he does. He says what's up? I say not much, you got a Hemi in there? He goes ya why? I say "It'll beat a Hemi" thinking about that damn sticker and he says "I was wondering, what a sleeper" LMAO Can't wait for a Lightning nrext time!

    I raced three hemi's before i got the sticker and now that i have it no one has wanted to race. But this thursday i get my cam and will definetly be able to kick hemi ass.
    2004 EXC Silverado 6.2L
    Mods:
    6.2L L92, Ported and Polished stage 3 heads, 95mm Throttle Body, 100mm MAF, NA, Pacesetter LT Headers, Magnaflow X-Pipe Muffler, Electric Fans, 160* thermostat, 2" Drop Shackles, Hellwig Sway Bars Front and Rear, Monroe Reflex Shocks, NGK Spark Plugs, AMW Oil Catch Can, 17"x10" wheels on Kuhmo Tires.
