Pump Ou,t leaking oil in turbo

I found out what the problem was on the truck. The oil pump return on the turbo has a high low switch in the cab. I have been running it on low and the switch went out friday morning making an oil bath of the trucks rear and the intake side all the way to the motor . I checked the plumbing today finding oil everywhere . funny the truck still runs O.K .
My question to everyone is how do I clean out the intercooler? Do I need to take it to a radiator shop?
Man I am glad they put an alarm switch in the cab to tell you the pump is not running, the bad thing is I was on the highway when it decided to go out talk about oil pressure at 75mls an hr.
Shit Happens! It could have been worse I guess.

If you take the intercooler off, just steam it out and let it dry a day or so.

I did it.
Took the whole thing apart and cleaned out all the oil.
What a job , Allen my hat is off to you for putting those things in. It took me five hrs. to put it back together again. I am letting the intercooler dry after a chemtool bath and two gallons of hot soapy water and rinse. My MAF is toast, I am on the way for another one right now. To everyone who has an STS setup-do not let the rear oil pump go out, it will cause a bad mess in the exhaust and intake. Happy hunting&#33;

Its together, just going to baby it for a while. It seems a lot of oil went thru the motor. Running a full tank of gas and some lucas gas treatment. This should clean it out. Next will be the plugs. I will change them this week. I will light the tires up in the middle of the week just to make sure everything is all right.

Hey all,
Got on the Black Terd and it is running fine . Cleaned all the oil out of the intake tubes and intercooler not to mention the MAF. I found a way to clean the intercooler, One can of chemtool-two buckets of hot soapy water, and a good rinse. Let it sit out in the sun for a couple of hrs and use a heat gun to flush out the remaining water. It works&#33; The MAF had a good dose of electrical cleaner and I think it worked also.

Allen if you read this I am almost reay to drop the Terd off. I will give you a heads up when I am ready.
