found this on another site...this guy says he's pushing 420 HP on this 04 4.8....must be a factory freak

e-fans...balancer/pulley...superchips on kill...jba shorties with bullets, 2 1/2" duals...msd wires...k&N cold air system...01 ls6 cam with springs & titanium retainers...comp pushrods...crower ultra lite lifters...heads stock with .025 milled, mild bowl job paying attention to the valve bosses and the area on the intake behind the bosses, super polish on the exhaust with mild bowl job...i used some titanium intakes but you dont have too....the superchips is right on the edge with the timing so use good gas.

i guess, pretty damn good for very mild head work and an LS6 cam. he also said he ran a 9.6 in the 1/8 but knows it will run in the 8&#39;s


edit: i just re-read it, he even said low 8&#39;s

dude prob has it bored and stroked to 6 liter and didnt wanna say shit, otherwise id call BS even with that horsepower, is 9 seconds possible? doubtful. maybe he just has a bare frame with gutted shell of a cab, hahaha, titanium roll cage(for weight reduction) and thrown together sheet metal bed resembling the real thing? only thing i could see is hella weight reduction. oh and danica patrick driving
