99' 2dr Tahoe 5.3 Swap

I'm hoping that someone can give me some direction. I am going to swap a 5.3 into my tahoe. I'm wondering if I need to change the truck oil pan to the camaro oil pan? Any help would be appreciated. I would rather fix it now than later. Thanks in advance.

You don't have to but it will hang 1.25-1.50 below the cross member. I'm going with the camaro pan because the truck is dropped 5/7.

Thanks Skylark! I dont think that I'm going that low but that can change! I figure that I may as well do it right the first time!
