    that was your problem...using locktite besides the tick how does it feel?? hopefully its simple.

    Well if this MFer is broke I'm going to need someone to come to Ft. Smith and help me pull the trans in the parking lot. I'm not about to pull a 6l80e and tcase in this parking lot on my back by myself haha.

    Had one converter bolt that was backed out around 1/2 a thread. Pulled it out to check for wear, put some more locktite on it, and stuck it back in there. She's ready for SAR.

    It seems to be fixed. I can't imagine a bolt 1/2 thread loose when two others are holding it tight as hell would cause a noise like that, but if it worked, I don't care. I'm glad it wasn't something major. When you hear a noise like that from deep in the engine bay/under the truck, it's awfully scary.
