Plx dm-6 sm-afr wideband gauge installation

Brown Santa finally delivered mine and now I need some ideas on where to install the controller unit in my 2007 GMT900 truck. I need to take the truck down to the muffler shop and have them install the 02 sensor on the top of the pipe at the 15 degree angle per instructions but where to put the controller with the possibility of maybe adding other PLX boxes to it. I have a 3 gauge pillar pod with an empty hole so gauge placement isn't in question. Any ideas, photos, online guides or whatever that may help me make up my mind will be greatly appreciated. Maybe I'll document how I did this one while I'm at it. Don't be shy, even if you did this in an older truck I'd still like to hear how you did it.

Can I connect the output that is meant for the HPTUNERS interface by tapping into the 4 wire connector on the unit without issue? It's just a PITA removing the connector every time I go to log a tune.
