    Off topic, sorry.
I agree completely. Just saying that's how they do it.

Exactly. I know 3-4 guys with CCSB and ECSB Dmaxs and Cummins.

Do you guys remember the starter welding thread? See the sticker on that welder? MILLER KILLER. That's a pipeline rig for sure.

Having to climb in and out to unhook it is a pain in the butt and if anyone has ever had to work out of the bed of their truck and climb in and out for tools they know what mean.
Seriously, you pull a gooseneck trailer with 1/2 ton truck? Impressive.

Why not? I dont have the need to spend the money to buy another truck right now either a 3/4 ton or a diesel when this truck can pull what I pull just fine. Iv'e added air bags, the parts in my sig plus 4.10s, regular schedualed mantainence and it performs perfectly.

keep an eye on your axle bearings, check them occasionally for up/down movement since they're not really designed for that much weight. It would be awful if an axle came out with a loaded trailer behind you. I wouldn't feel safe pulling a gooseneck with anything less that a full floating axle. Be safe and stay up on the drivetrain maintenance and lets hope you never have to lock down the brakes and expect it to stop quickly.
