    Help With Drive Shaft Vibration

Well comeing home from work thursday I got on my truck just for fun and broke the rear drive shaft. So I went to the junk yard and got me another one the carrier bearing is good replaced all the u joints and im still getting some vibration at 30mph its real hard vibration and up to about 80mph u can feal it preety good. Everything is bolted on rite drive shaft is strait the only thing that I have noticed is that the rear drive shaft at the rear end u joint u can move the drive shaft side to side and the clips that hold the u joint are nice and tight. Ive gone thru at least about 10 u joints and they all do the same thing from autozone, oreily, and advanced auto parts. Does anyone have any ideas on what this could be thanx?

I'm curious about this as well. I've got a one piece and I've been through 5 u-joints up front and 2 in back. All from either auto zone, advanced, or oreillys. One was from Rock Auto.

did u get the u joints that have the c clip..?
the u joints i used had c clips that went in the inside of the little brackets that go bolted to tge rear end

from what i remember lastime they gave me the wrong u joint and i had the same problem. two of the 'arms' were the same size and the other two we slightly smaller.
i just changed the u joint for the driveshaft that goes to the front the part # was 2-3011DG
looks exactly like the one that goes to the back

I've always gotten the ones w/ the c-clips. I had that "arm" problem before too, I ended up making about 5 different trips to Advanced before I got the right one.

you dont always know what the other truck has been through. Its a precautionary measure to get it balanced just in case.
